KEVIN BABUDER--Based in Los Angeles, California, Kevin has orchestrated music for numerous films including Daddy Day Camp, The Longest Daycare (The Simpsons), Who's Your Caddy?, and Little Mermaid 3: Ariel's Beginning. Television credits include music heard on "The Dr. Oz Show," the Starbucks Corporation, and Canadian TV's Travel Show "Departures," plus orchestrations for the Emmy award winning Pushing Daisies, and sound design for the Jack Hunter television mini-series. 

Hailing from Cleveland, Ohio, KEVIN BABUDER continues an extensive career as a professional composer and songwriter.  In his youth, Mr. Babuder studied music at the Cleveland Institute of Music and the Interlochen Center for the Arts.  He received a Bachelor of Music degree in Composition; Media Writing and Production from the University of Miami, Florida.  Mr. Babuder attended the ASCAP Film Scoring Program at the Aspen Music Festival in 2003, where his works were praised by Hollywood Film Composers and Aspen Artistic Director, David Zinman. 

Mr. Babuder draws inspiration from a wide array of musical experiences.  As an accomplished bassoonist, Mr. Babuder has performed with the Cleveland Orchestra Youth Orchestra, the Cleveland Orchestra bassoon section, the Florida Philharmonic, the Key West Symphony, Aspen Festival Orchestra, and he also served as the 2nd bassoonist for the Florida Grand Opera.  As a pianist, Mr. Babuder has toured the world, performing with established artists.  Working with Royal Caribbean and Carnival Cruise Lines, he has shared the stage with Ben Vereen, Peter Noone (Herman’s Hermits), Comedian George Wallace, and Las Vegas headliner Clint Holmes, among others.  His melodies and rhythms have been influenced by the jazz and latin music of South Florida and the Caribbean Islands.  As a conductor and clinician in sacred music, Mr. Babuder currently performs and conducts choirs all over the world.

At the University of Miami, Mr. Babuder was honored with an unprecedented two departmental achievement awards, for both composition and performance.  His concert works have been commissioned and performed by members of the Florida Philharmonic as well as by faculty from the University of Miami.  Icarus Unbound, a concert work for Oboe and Piano, was commissioned by former Principal Oboe of the Florida Philharmonic and current University of Illinois Professor John Dee.  His Sonata for Flute and Piano was performed by University of Miami lecturer Terri Mitchell at the Florida Flute Fair.  Mr. Babuder has also had numerous works recorded by the University of Miami Symphony Orchestra.

Mr. Babuder currently resides in Hollywood, California, with his wife and kids. He is an avid reader, traveler, and snow ski enthusiast.
